Job Description
As Software engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing software / functionality for embedded control systems for automotive applications such as vehicle control unit (VCU-Vehicle Control Unit), propulsion - combustion, hybrid & electric - control unit (ECU-Engine Control Unit) and transmission control unit (Transmission Control Unit) as a member of Bosch global development team working on the latest generation microcontrollers / microprocessors and AUTOSAR standards.
- Requirements engineering of powertrain functions
- Develop software solution for product requirements, complying w/ automotive quality and integrity standards
- design software in accordance with the defined architecture and contribute to implementation and testing of the software
- Communication with safety experts, product feature owners and customers for system and sub-system requirements elicitation
- Work in an international environment, collaborate closely with internal and external development teams
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
Personality and Working Practice
- Good communication skills to discuss issues / solutions with team and external customers.
- Capable to work independently in an organized and structured fashion.
- Capable to work with cross-functional and Global Teams
Experience and Knowledge
- 1+ years of academic or professional experience in software programming
- Knowledge of mobility powertrain (Internal combustion (Gasoline/Diesel), Electrical vehicle and fuel cell))
- Basic Knowledge of Electronics & Embedded system (Microcontroller / Microprocessor).
- Basic knowledge of ML/SL, Python, C++, AUTOSAR
- Comfortable with in-vehicle test activities.
- Comfortable with automotive software engineering principles and processes: requirements engineering, design, implementation and testing
Languages: fluent English (written and spoken) is a must
